PAY: Day – $16 / Night – $18
SCHEDULES:
Day Shift – 4 am – 4 pm, Monday to Thursday
Night Shift – 4 pm – 4am, Monday to Thursday
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for operating the filament winders, which includes setting up, tearing down and
cleaning the filament winders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Disassemble, clean, and set up resin baths.
Assist with offload of production billets using SOP’s.
Certified use of half-face respirator.
Use equipment and tools safely as designed/documented.
Maintain required attendance and punctuality as scheduled to meet production goals.
Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Loading and unloading materials in the warehouse.
Operating heavy machinery to process products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
One year of experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial setting.
Ability to safely operate various hand-held tools and power tools.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.
Ability to comprehend production requirements.
Pass a background and drug test.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to stand for 12-hour shift.
Comfortable wearing a hazmat suit and face mask.
Lift a minimum of 50lbs., repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
Cardiorespiratory: Have average to above-average cardiorespiratory fitness* to perform the essential tasks of this job safely.
Must be able to safely tolerate significant demands on the cardiorespiratory system related to working in hot and humid environments, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting heavy items.
